| SONNY’S APOLLO, Aka “Big Al”, an own
son of the Great Sonny Dee Bar, out of a Two Eyed Jack
bred mare. Al’s first foal crop arrived in 1995
and since that time his “get” have marked a high
standard of quality, siring numerous National ROMs in
performance and halter. In 2000, “Apollo 13” (son of
Sonny’s Apollo) was awarded his APHA Championship by the
APHA.
Sonny Apollo's “get” are eligible for the Central
Idaho Futurity (Hi-Point Junior Horse in 2000), the
EIPHC Boundary Bred Futurity (Hi-Point Weanling Filly,
Yearling Stallion and Two Year Old Western Pleasure in
2000), the EIPHC Breeder’s Futurity (Hi-Point Two Year
Old Western Pleasure in 2000) and the MVSIA Futurity in
McCammon, where Sonnys Apollo’s “Get” earned a total
purse of $2,163.00.
Regionally, Al’s “Get” earned a total of 9 Hi-Point
Awards and 2 Reserve Hi-Point Awards in the Eastern
Idaho Paint Horse Club.
